Biden afraid of his shadow

You have to be kidding me! The Biden administration working with the New York Times is communicating that they are concerned that maybe the sanctions are putting Putin in a corner.

Give me a break. Putin is free to leave the Ukraine in any direction except west. The sanctions aren’t putting him in a corner, they’re trying to protect a tiny corner (Ukraine) a fledgling democracy.

It appears to me the Biden administration is making excuses for not getting tougher and trying to get support from the public for not getting stronger.

Our Swift sanctions aren’t really that Swift, leaving many many Russian banks and oil transactions outside of the sanctions. Only 12 Russian oligarchs have been sanctioned so far. Sanction all 100. 7 banks out of SWIFT. Remove all Russian banks from SWIFT. And stop doing business with Russia now “because Putin won’t stop with Ukraine.”

The only way to stop Putin is with a No-Fly zone.  If we give in to his "nuclear threat" he will get whatever he wants.

Putin wants the Russian empire (Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia...) If he is willing to use nuclear weapons to take the Ukraine then he’s willing to use nuclear weapons to take the rest of his empire. The world needs to stop him now
