Vaccine mRNA in your DNA?

This was a question I had regarding mRNA vaccines. The possibility of reverse transcriptase taking some of the mRNA and using it to modify DNA in our cellular genome.  CDC claimed impossible (not improbable or insignificant). This paper shows that in a Petri dish, in human liver cells, it appears mRNA can be reversed transcribed into DNA.  It did not show, nor did it attempt to, that any of this DNA was incorporated into the cellular genome.

Even if it is, this doesn’t necessarily mean there’s any problem. Even if it gets incorporated in some gene DNA it’s not clear that there are any corresponding transcription factors to tell the DNA to make the mRNA to make spike proteins. Then, even if it made the spike protein there’s no evidence it would really bother anything. But interesting nevertheless.

Note that I participated in the J&J vaccine trial and I am triple vaxed with mRNA vaccine
