Where’re BLM/Lebron/Biden?

Where’s the outrage? Where’s BLM? Where’s Lebron?

Another week and more lives lost. Until the Democrats stop propagating the false narrative nothing will change.

Black lives matter - I support the words but cannot support the organization because it propagates the false narrative that systemic racism is the primary cause of the disparities(murders, incarceration, teen mothers, fatherless households, income, wealth, etc.) between blacks and whites.

Racism exists (though not widespread), it’s bad, and we should continue to work to reduce it. Excess police force exists (though rare), it's  bad and we should continue to work to reduce it.

BLM organization’s positions and policies do not address the problems (murders, fatherless households, teen pregnancy, lack of agency) and do not address the key root causes (it’s not excessive police force or systemic racism.)

Biden Breaking Piggy Bank

Biden is discouraging US oil production, hurting US oil producers and helping Putin.

Maybe worse, he is taking oil out of the Strategic Oil Reserve in a desperate attempt to reduce inflation and help Democrats win elections, but increasing the risk to the US economy if there's an oil disruption.

US Debt is Scary!

The level of US Government debt as a ratio to GDP has reached historically high levels (~1.2), similar to WWII levels (Source: fred.stlouisfed.org.)

However, what is really scary is the ratio of debt to GDP  (~8) if you include the projected shortfall of  income and expenses from Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid in today's dollars (Source: US Treasury Financial Report of the United States Government..

How will the US pay this debt back?

I should pick tomatoes for Pelosi?

In the late 70's my sister-in-law to be had one of her art students draw a characterization of me.  What did I do when I saw it.  With only a picture and my last name to go on he drew a cute picture of me as a tomato picker. Was I triggered?  Was I hurt?  Did I look for a safe space?  Did I think badly about his stereotype of someone with my last name? Nope.  I laughed, understanding how uninformed this young student was, and continued my studies to be a chemical engineer (and by the way I never considered trying to get a Professor fired for being too difficult) and have always happily and proudly displayed it.

Last week the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Democrat Nancy Pelosi,  commented on why the US needs more immigrants: "to pick our crops."

Maybe things really haven't changed (at least for the uninformed.)

And then...OMG.  Notice what Google search results I received when looking for a screen shot of Pelosi.  Goggle is trying to soften/deflect any negative effect on a leading Democrat.

Biden Not Producing

US still lags crude oil production and Biden is doing little to help.

Where are the BLM protests/riots political?

Does anyone else recall the summer of 2020 with all of the riots and protests?  I wonder why we’re not seeing these protests now with even more police killings. Do you think politics might be a factor?

Police killed at least 881 people through September 30, 2022. Police killed more people over the past 9 months than at any other point in the past decade.

What is navigable water?

There appears to be as much confusion over what is navigable water as there is to what is a female.

The Supreme Court is listening to arguments regarding what waters the Clean Waters Act has jurisdiction over: Sackett v. EPA

The Clean Water Act (CWA), encoded in 33 U.S.C. Chapter 26, controls "navigable waters" which has been interpreted to include wetlands adjacent to navigable waters.

The EPA has now tried to expand their jurisdiction to include any waters that have a "significant nexus" to waters of the United States.  The Biden administration and several justices of SCOTUS appear to be supporting this position and arguing that any water (including ground and subsurface) that has any connection to any navigable waters should fall under the EPA Clean Water Act.

So, if Biden and several SCOTUS justices have their way, I am potentially exposed to criminal prosecution by the EPA for anything I do in my back yard (2) such as water lawn, backwash pool, fertilize,  that may impact a creek (3) that is in my backyard and is dry unless there's a lot of rain that continues for ~1/4 mile (4) to the East Branch of the DuPage River, a navigable water according to the EPA.

Ignore Trump

While there were several important accomplishments under Trump (SCOTUS judges, lower taxes, javelins for Ukraine, WARP speed), he is intellectually lazy, lacks gravitas, is coarse, petty, insecure, bombastic, inarticulate, and, as a result, can’t beat a Democrat and is therefore bad for Republicans.

And while there were irregularities in the 2020 election (votes in key swing states that did not meet their state legislature’s requirements and MSM burying the Hunter Biden laptop story) and Trump was treated unfairly by the MSM and administrative state propagating false narratives (Russian collusion and system racism), he lost the election.

Please ignore Trump like a crazy uncle at Thanksgiving and hope he goes away.

Permitting Bill less than it sounds

Wind and solar are still more expensive because they require back-up generating/storage capacity for when the sun doesn’t shine and the wind doesn’t blow and they require dramatic increases in the national electricity transmission infrastructure.

Today states decide how and when to permit electricity transmission lines and can consider how new transmission lines affect their power supply and their electricity costs when they decide whether to permit them or not. Manchin’s “Permitting Fix” would transfer this authority to the government (FERC).

The bill allows FERC to force the costs of transmitting electricity with broad discretion to socialize costs based on “reasonably anticipated benefits,” however it defines them, such as reducing CO2 emissions. This means that FERC can decide which states have to bear the costs which can result in states with nuclear and fossil fuel (cheap) power to subsidize states that are developing expensive power sources (wind and solar.)

What could go wrong?

Biden blows off constitution

14th Amendment - Equal protection of the laws

Pro-abortion escort said “crude … inappropriate and disgusting things” to the Houcks’ son, such as “your dad’s a fag” and other vulgar slurs. Houck kept telling the escort to stop harassing his son, they say, but the escort refused to stop and when the foul-mouthed vulgarian got too close to his son, Houck protected him by shoving the escort away. The escort fell down, but, according to Houck’s family, the only injury he suffered required “a Band-Aid on his finger.”  The incident occurred Oct. 21, 2021. The assault claim against Houck is so weak that not only did Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, a Soros-backed rogue prosecutor, refuse to file any misdemeanor charges against Houck, but, the family says, a civil lawsuit filed by the escort was thrown out of court.

Now, almost a year later, In an early morning raid Friday in Kintnersville, Pennsylvania, about two dozen FBI agents with weapons drawn pounded on the door of Mark Houck’s home, where he lives with his wife and seven children. Justice Department charges him with two felonies for an injury that required a Band-Aid. His conviction could result, according to the Justice Department, in a maximum penalty of “11 years in prison, three years of supervised release and fines of up to $350,000.”

Contrast this prosecution with the fact that vandals physically have attacked and damaged roughly 70 pro-life pregnancy centers, which also are protected under the FACE Act’s definition of a facility that “provides reproductive health services.” So why hasn’t the Justice Department filed a single FACE Act indictment against anyone for those crimes?

Biden's Broken Border Aug 22

Biden’s immigration policies are a mess AND put many innocents at risk and allow Mexican cartels to get rich.

I support immigration. A lot of immigration. But legal immigration, with a mix of merit based  (engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, doctors, mathematicians, etc.) and opportunity-based (people who want to work hard, adopt American values, and get ahead).

(Note-The numbers are the apprehensions. We do not know how many people get through without being apprehended)

Biden- Stop Dithering. Lead. Stop Putin

While the US has provided more military assistance to Ukraine than any other country, Biden continues to dither by worrying more about provoking Putin and ignoring the 10's of thousands of deaths, the rubbling of Ukraine and the consequences of letting Russia invade and stay in Ukraine.

From the beginning of Russia's threats to continue their 2014 invasion of Ukraine Biden has dithered.  He actually stopped providing Javelins to prevent provoking Russia until the weeks before the actual invasion.  He took military option off the table. He encouraged Zelensky to leave Ukraine.  Rather ineffective sanctions were imposed. It was only after the heroically brave fighting and sacrifice of the Ukraine army and people and the discovery of the inept capabilities of the Russian army that Biden began increasing military aid.  But he has done it in a slow incremental way and still continues to limit the capabilities and range of weapons assistance.

Biden needs to LEAD the world to stop Putin.

This is wrong

I’m sorry BUT this teacher is inappropriately dressed.

Regardless of the sex, or the self identified gender of this teacher, you have to question their mental well-being to want to go to school dressed like that

Biden puts Drama over Engineering

The student loan program, as currently written, is looking to be one of the most costly, inefficient and unwise government programs of the 21st century.”

Calculation and estimates that typical graduates in Mechanical Engineering will on average get a 0% subsidy but graduates in Music will get a 96% subsidy, in Drama a 99% subsidy and Masseuses a 100% subsidy on average.
