If the world meets its 1.5 degree promise, it would prevent a less than 0.5% loss in annual global domestic product by 2050 and a 3.1% loss by 2100.

Fully delivering on the 1.5-degree Paris promise will cost a minimum of 4.5% of global GDP each year by midcentury and 5.5% by 2100 based on government implementation efficiently and at lowest possible costs. In reality costs will be much higher.

Hidden cost of government

Rules made by federal agencies impose a cost that is hidden. 

Federal rules and regulations including, but not limited to, “social justice”, education, manufacturing, transportation, energy exploration, environmental, hiring, employment, accounting, commerce, food, drug and agriculture are a significant cost on Americans.

And while some rules regulations are needed to keep markets free and competitive and to ensure safety and freedom, many of the rules and regulations are excessive and the reason that corporations spend billions “lobbying” politicians.

Maybe prosecute crime

With the Democrat’s neo-Marxist critical social justice approach, it is always somebody else’s fault.

This refusal to take responsibility for one’s action/policies and instead blaming others is a direct result of the critical social justice approach, embraced by the neo-Marxist Democrats.

Chicago has a significant crime problem with high number of shootings and carjackings these days.

In a news conference on November 28, 2023, Chicago’s mayor, Brandon Johnson, blamed Republicans for the city’s problems. No mention of the neo-Marxist Democrat policies of sanctuary city, attracting immigrants and soft on crime prosecutors that are…soft on crime.

Evanston Township High School (ETHS) has been called one of the best high schools in America. Based in one of the wokest areas of the country they have identified racial disparities as a problem and then decided to focus on the wrong cause. Their stated position is: “Racism is the most devastating factor contributing to the diminished achievement of students.” Their results so far have had little effect. I think that if they focused on the home environment of students as the primary cause they would have better results.

Biden's Broken Border

I support immigration. A lot of immigration. But legal immigration, with a mix of merit based  (engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, doctors, mathematicians, etc.) and opportunity-based (people who want to work hard, adopt American values, and get ahead).

The Founders had three criteria for new immigrants: their qualifications; their assimilation; and their allegiance. Today, I have no clue what Biden's criteria or goals are.

To legally immigrate into the US is almost impossible unless you are a relative (8 year wait), employer sponsored or win a very limited lottery.

No doubt there are highly capable, hard working people throughout the world that want to integrate into US society with its freedom and norms.

Biden’s border policies continue to be a mess, put many innocents at risk AND allow Mexican cartels to get rich. The latest Illegal Immigration data released show that Biden will allow OVER 10 million illegal immigrants into the US. And this doesn't count the "got aways," people crossing the border without being caught.

Biden will beat Trump

Don’t be fooled by all of the mainstream media polls and claims that Trump is leading Biden. The campaign against Trump hasn’t started yet. So far, the Democrats are working their hardest to make Trump the candidate. 

When the campaign starts, the Democrats and the mainstream media will blast the airwaves next year talking about how big of a threat Trump is to Democracy, that he’s a convicted felon and that he’s the next coming of Hitler. This and his boorish behavior will turn off independent voters and suburban moms. He will not beat Biden. And he will hurt the Republican Representative and Senate candidates.

School Choice Can Fix Education

Despite billions of dollars and years of neo-Marxist Democrat policies controlled by the teachers’ union, the US education system is failing. 

U.S. ranks 36th in math and 13th in reading on the 2018 Program for International Student Assessment

Black and Hispanic students lag behind their white peers in academics, graduation rates and college enrollment. 

Parents need to have the autonomy to select the optimal educational environment for their children, unbounded by geography or income brackets, and to take their full allotment of education funds with them. 

If we can fully commit to free-market principles in education, we can create an education system that unlocks the talents of every student in our lifetimes.
