It's Biden's Price Hike

Why are we seeing record inflation? Just look at the quantity of money the government has injected into the economy.

No, it's not Putin's price hike as oil prices did not spike until the invasion and the inflation we are seeing is before the invasion.

Milton Friedman said: “Inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon, in the sense that it is and can be produced only by a more rapid increase in the quantity of money than in output.”

Has their been a rapid increase of money in proportion to the economy?

Yes!  A dramatic increase.  A portion can be explained and justified as a reasonable reaction to the initial shut-down of the economy due to the pandemic.  Think of it as an insurance policy where the government pays for what was lost if a very large, very rare event happens.

However, if the government pays significantly more than was lost, you end up with too much money chasing too few goods and inflation results. This is what is happening.  While the last amounts that were  injected by Trump may have been arguably needed, it is clear that the significant amounts injected by Biden so far, not to mention what more he has proposed, are in excess of what is needed and as a result we are seeing increased prices.

Biden's Fuel Failure

Biden's Performance Lacking

Crude oil and natural gas production were growing before the pandemic.  After the pandemic with Biden, oil and gas production are far lower than the trend before the pandemic.  A part of this poor performance might be due to the temporary low prices caused be the lower usage during the pandemic affecting new exploration, drilling and productions.  However, it is impossible not to recognize that the hostile polices of the Biden administration (see below) are a major factor in the failure to increase production back the previous trend.

September 2020 Biden: “ I guarantee you, I guarantee you, we are gonna end fossil fuel, and I am not going to cooperate with them. Before 2050, God willing.

October 2020 Baiden promised to get rid of fossil fuels.

January 2021 Biden orders the Interior Department to halt new oil and natural gas leases on public lands and waters, and begin a thorough review of existing permits for fossil fuel development.

January 2021 Biden directs the federal government to remove additional 30% of federal lands and water from oil/gas exploration by 2030

January 2021 Biden revoked the Keystone XL pipeline permit

Feb 2021 Biden adopts an inflated social cost of CO2 of $51 per ton impose more onerous fuel-economy and energy efficiency standards and requiring Agencies to use it to conduct environmental impact statements under the National Environmental Policy Act for projects lime the Alaska liquefied natural gas project and mineral leases.

May 2021 The Biden Administration directs agency officials to fight climate change through financial regulation.

May 2021 Biden directs the SEC to require companies to enumerate and disclose the financial risks of climate change

June 2021 Federal judge blocked the administration’s temporary ban on new leases to drill for oil and gas on public lands and ordered that lease sales continue.

November 2021 Biden administration did hold the largest-ever offshore leasing auction known as Lease Sale 257, a Gulf of Mexico offering primed by the Trump administration.

January 2022 The Biden administration will scrap the authorization to expanded leasing and development in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska, or NPR-A.

February 2022  Lease Sale 257 vacated by a federal judge after being challenged by environmental groups. The administration opted not to appeal in a Feb. 28 filing.

Feb 2022 Federal Judge James Cain issues injunction against Biden using his social cost of CO2

February 2022 Biden's Fed nominee Sarah Bloom Raskin claims the  Fed will have to "manage" the financial risks of climate change and climate policy saying: "Our financial regulatory bodies must do all they can—which turns out to be a lot—to bring about the adoption of practices and policies that will allocate capital and align portfolios toward sustainable investments that do not depend on carbon and fossil fuels. Translation - the Fed will make it more difficult for financial institutions to lend to oil and gas production

March 2022  Biden uses the injunction to halt permitting work on at least 18 wells on federal oil and gas leases in New Mexico and new lease sales. The White House is blaming the judge for what it was already doing or, rather, not doing.

March 2022  In a 3-2 vote divided along party lines, Biden’s appointees to the Federal Energy Commission (FERC) commission dramatically changed the policy for reviewing and approving applications for new natural-gas pipeline projects requiring the projects to greatly increase the way negative effects on the environment are measured thus making these permits much more difficult to obtain.

March 2022 Industry is using a higher percentage of federal onshore and offshore leases than at any time in the past, and it’s continuing to increase production to meet surging demand. Biden purposefully misusing the facts.  Just because you have a lease doesn’t mean there’s actually oil and gas in that lease, and there has to be a lot of development that occurs between the leasing and then ultimately permitting for that acreage to be productive.

March 2022 Biden administration appeals and overturns lower court ruling preventing the use of higher CO2 costs of the Biden Administration. So now it will be harder to get permits and leases. Will have to wait to see what the supreme court does.

Biden’s a P#%>y

On Tuesday, after Poland made an offer to transfer Mig 29 jets to the Ukraine through the US, because they were afraid they would get attacked by Putin, the Pentagon rejected the offer claiming “It is simply not clear to us that there is a substantive rationale for it,”

That was a lie, a smokescreen for Biden

Turns out it was Biden that stopped the Polish  jets from going to the Ukraine because he was afraid it would provoke Putin.

Stop Putin Now

Stop Putin Now!
Putin is an evil man, a thuggish dictator running a kleptocracy. He kills journalists. He kills political opponents. He kills innocent civilians by the tens of thousands.

Putin said he wants the Russian empire back (Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia...)

In 2014, after the Ukrainian people demanded and started their journey towards democracy, Putin took Crimea from the Ukraine and occupied the Eastern regions of Ukraine.

In 2020, when the Putin backed Belarus dictator stole an election and remained in power, Putin provided him with the “police forces” to quash the demonstrations and financing to overcome the West’s sanctions and Belarus became a vassal state of Russia.

Now, after an hour long passionate speech where Putin claimed that the breakup of the Soviet states was illegitimate, Putin invades Ukraine, a fledgling democracy. A country that gave up its nuclear weapons in return for a promise, including by the US, to protect Ukraine’s border integrity. A country that volunteered to help the US fight wars including Afghanistan.

As Russia continues to kill thousands, cause millions to flee and destroy cities in the Ukraine, the Biden administration continues to be afraid to stop Putin.

Just recently the US refused to allow Poland to donate their Mig29 fighters to Ukraine  Poland asked the US to be the party to transfer the jets to the Ukraine because Putin threatened Poland (a NATO  country) with war if Poland sent the planes directly to Ukraine and Poland is afraid that the US may not help them if Putin attacks them.

Sitting safely in Washington DC, the Biden administration refuses to transfer the jets, claiming that Zelenskyy doesn’t really need them, despite the Ukraine begging for the jets, deciding how Zelenskyy can best defend his civilians.  Biden is afraid transferring the jets would start a war with Putin. This despite that we are sending thousands of javelin missiles and stinger missiles that are killing Russians.

What should be obvious from the inept performance of the Soviet army in the invasion of Ukraine, there is no reason to fear war w Russia.

The only possible thing to fear is that Putin might use nuclear weapons to take the Ukraine. However, this is a false excuse. If Putin is willing to use nuclear weapons to take the Ukraine,  he’ll be willing to use them to take the rest of his empire (Baltic states).

Stop him now!

Biden’s Never Mind Leadership?

Never mind!

Give up your nuclear weapons and we will guarantee your border integrity-NEVER MIND! We can’t risk going to war with Russia even though they are an evil empire invading a fledging democracy

We can’t implement sanctions because they’ll provoke Putin. - NEVER MIND! We never expected the sanctions to work

We stand for democracy. - NEVER MIND!  We’ll cheer for you from the sidelines as Russians kill innocent civilians.

We give a greenlight to Poland providing fighter jets to Ukraine - NEVER MIND! We do not believe Poland’s proposal is a tenable one.

Biden afraid of Putin AOC his shadow

How many Ukrainians does Biden want to die? Is he really trying to give Putin the Ukraine?

It seems Biden is afraid of Putin, AOC and his own shadow.

The Biden administration just responded to the Polish offer of providing fighters to the Ukraine.  Neyt!

“It is simply not clear to us that there is a substantive rationale for it,” Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said.

The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the President and the Government, are ready to deploy – immediately and free of charge – all their MIG-29 jets to the Ramstein Air Base and place them at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America.

Stop Putin w No Fly Zone

The west Initially imposed limited sanctions that resulted in the Russian stock market actually going up. The west then increased the sanctions to include limiting Russian banks’ access to the global financial system (SWIFT) and on Russian oligarchs.  But so far the west hasn’t stopped Russian oil exports, The Swift sanctions are only on less than 10 out of hundreds of Russian Banks and the sanctions on oligarchs is limited to a handful of oligarchs.

With only limited military support, most of which has been given after the invasion, Ukraine is bravely fighting a heroic battle against a vastly larger and more modern military.

Russia is killing 1000’s.
Russia is destroying cities forcing millions of civilians to flee.

Ukraine is begging for a no-fly zone

The west, especially the US, claims they cannot support a no-fly zone because it would lead to nuclear war BUT that the West would stop Putin if he tries to invade a NATO country.

This is hard to believe. If US can stand by the side when the largest country in Europe, a fledgling democracy with over 40 million people is invaded, civilians being killed, how can anyone believe that the US will risk a nuclear war to protect, say Lithuania, a country 1/20 the size of Ukraine.

If Putin is willing to use nuclear weapons to take the Ukraine then he’s willing to use nuclear weapons to take the rest of his empire. The world needs to stop him now.

Everyone still making more

Using the latest data from the CBO on Income distribution:

  1. Everyone is still making more;
  2. The rich are still paying far more than others; and,
  3. The proportion the rich are paying is increasing.

Biden afraid of his shadow

You have to be kidding me! The Biden administration working with the New York Times is communicating that they are concerned that maybe the sanctions are putting Putin in a corner.

Give me a break. Putin is free to leave the Ukraine in any direction except west. The sanctions aren’t putting him in a corner, they’re trying to protect a tiny corner (Ukraine) a fledgling democracy.

It appears to me the Biden administration is making excuses for not getting tougher and trying to get support from the public for not getting stronger.

Our Swift sanctions aren’t really that Swift, leaving many many Russian banks and oil transactions outside of the sanctions. Only 12 Russian oligarchs have been sanctioned so far. Sanction all 100. 7 banks out of SWIFT. Remove all Russian banks from SWIFT. And stop doing business with Russia now “because Putin won’t stop with Ukraine.”

The only way to stop Putin is with a No-Fly zone.  If we give in to his "nuclear threat" he will get whatever he wants.

Putin wants the Russian empire (Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia...) If he is willing to use nuclear weapons to take the Ukraine then he’s willing to use nuclear weapons to take the rest of his empire. The world needs to stop him now

Biden's Jobs Claim BS

People still aren't working

Biden's claims are meaningless and intellectually dishonest as his job creation comes after a shutdown when you'd expect record growth AND his jobs creation post pandemic are still just a fraction of Trumps job creation post pandemic as meaningless as this comparison is.

Vaccine mRNA in your DNA?

This was a question I had regarding mRNA vaccines. The possibility of reverse transcriptase taking some of the mRNA and using it to modify DNA in our cellular genome.  CDC claimed impossible (not improbable or insignificant). This paper shows that in a Petri dish, in human liver cells, it appears mRNA can be reversed transcribed into DNA.  It did not show, nor did it attempt to, that any of this DNA was incorporated into the cellular genome.

Even if it is, this doesn’t necessarily mean there’s any problem. Even if it gets incorporated in some gene DNA it’s not clear that there are any corresponding transcription factors to tell the DNA to make the mRNA to make spike proteins. Then, even if it made the spike protein there’s no evidence it would really bother anything. But interesting nevertheless.

Note that I participated in the J&J vaccine trial and I am triple vaxed with mRNA vaccine

Biden fights wrong battle

Despite the science(1,2) that has shown that gender conversion of a children may do more harm than good, President Biden spent time this week(3) to try to influence America to resist Texas’s efforts to limit gender conversion in children.

It’s not like there’s a war going on that threatens Democracy and is killing 1000’s of innocent people. Oh wait. There is.

Hopefully NOT too Little too Late

Prior to the Russian invasion of Ukraine there was only limited military support, primarily rather small numbers of anti-tank weapons.

Since the invasion there has been a dramatic increase of military assistance led by European countries. In the above charts I show the numbers where they are confirmed or specified. There are some countires that have provided items where the numbers haven't been disclosed (Lativa, Lithuania, Estonia.)

Let's hope and pray it's not too late.

Biden-Stop This

Dear President Biden,

The United States is the leader of the free world and democracy and you alone need to lead the world in stopping this. Your son Beau was willing to fight for democracy, why aren’t you?

March 2, 2022

Biden’s 11 Whoppers

1. America will release 30 million barrels from our own Strategic Petroleum Reserve.  These steps will help blunt gas prices here at home.

This release is equivalent to 0.42% of our daily usage or 1.5 days.  Does he really believe this will help pricing?

2. Our economy grew at a rate of 5.7% last year, the strongest growth in nearly 40 years

Once again Biden using arbitrary time frame.  Dramatic growth is expected after severe shutdown

 3. The $2 Trillion tax cut passed in the previous administration benefitted only the top 1% of Americans

The tax cuts had the largest reduction for the poorest and the richest has the smallest reduction.

 4. I have a better plan to fight inflation.

Not so far

 5. Our economy created over 6.5 Million new jobs just last year, more jobs created in one year than ever before in the history of America.

Arbitrary time frame taking advantage of the effect of the pandemic to make his number sound special.  However, if you compare post pandemic performance, it’s not so special.

6. And under my plan, nobody earning less than $400,000 a year will pay an additional penny in new taxes.

When you raise taxes on corporations, that additional cost is passed on to customers through higher prices, employees through lower wages, and investors with lower returns. It also reduces the size of the economy which hurts everyone.

7. Let’s make sure corporations and the wealthiest Americans start paying their fair share.

What does he mean by fair.  The richest pay by far the greatest percent of taxes and the highest rate.

8. Thanks to the progress we have made this past year, COVID-19 we’ll be able to deploy new vaccines within 100 days instead of many more months or years

Despite his promise to “end Covid”, more people have died during his administration than the Trump administration from a disease that hehad a year to prepare for and that he had access to a vaccine that was developed by the Trump administration. He failed to make a new vaccine for Delta or Omicron

9. Repeal the liability shield that makes gun manufacturers the only industry in America that can’t be sued

Gun manufacturers can be sued for defective devices and illegal sales.  They can’t be sued for misuse of their product. Just like cars (if you run someone over no liability for car manufacturer), knifes (if you stab someone no liability for manufacturer), TV’s (if you hit someone over the head no liability for TV manufacturer.)

 10. We need to secure the Border

So far he is failing.  Dramatic increase in SW border apprehensions, not to mention those that get away.

 11. We will save democracy

In the State of the Union address Biden said, "We will save Democracy."

But almost immediately following says, "Let me be clear, our forces will not engage in conflict with Russian forces in Ukraine."

These two statements are completely irreconcilable!

If the US/NATO/EU are not willing to implement a No-Fly zone in Western Ukraine and step up their military assistance Putin wilk take Ukraine. Despite the heroic bravery of the Ukrainians, they are match against a much larger army with dramatic advantage in numbers of tanks and aircraft.

Putin is evil, he will be as ruthless and be as vicious as necessary to take Ukraine unless he is stopped.

Sanctions will not be quick enought, a Russian coup/uprising will not happen in time.

Biden's actions and inactions are giving Putin the Ukraine.

Biden's actions and inactions are giving Putin the Ukraine.

Why would you tell Putin ahead of time that you are taking military options off of the table.  How would this reduce the likely hood of his invasion.  Why not say "We will keep all options on the table to assist Ukraine."

The "excuse" of avoiding a world war is false.  Either you are willing to stop Putin or you are willing to give Putin what he wants.  He is clear he wants Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and the rest of the Soviet client states. What credible facts and logic support the thought that he will stop with the Ukraine?  If you are afraid to risk war to save Ukraine, a large  European democracy, why will anyone believe you would risk nuclear war to save a tiny democracy like Latvia. Yes. Yes. I know Latvia is a NATO country and Article 5 requires all countries to defend an attack on another country.  But there is nothing in our Constitution that requires it and if we are not willing to protect a the territorial integrity of a large European country that we promised to when they gave up Nuclear weapons, why would you believe this President will risk war to save a small country when Putin takes it over and "threatens" nuclear war.

Putin must be stopped.

It is time.

Implement a No-Fly zone in Western Ukraine.  If Putin chooses to go to war it is his choice.

The world needs to stop him now.

EU/NATO/Europe Setting up a defensive no-fly Zone in Western Ukraine is not an act of war. If Russia chooses to violate Ukrainian airspace that is protected by a no-fly zone that is on Russia.

Despite the heroically brave efforts of the Ukrainians to date, there is little chance they can prevail against the vastly outnumbering Russian forces without significant military support from the West which would best be served by a no-fly zone in Western Ukraine.

Way to go Joe

The US is still far behind it's pre-pandemic crude oil production levels.  The Biden administration is hindering the increase in US oil production. As we produce less we increase the price helping Putin.

Why?

In a Fact Check released on March 7, the Institute for Energy Research (IER) pointed out that oil exploration on federal lands rapidly declined under the Obama administration.

“The reality is that federal lands vastly underperform on oil and gas production versus state and private lands because the federal government owns the majority of the mineral estate,” the IER wrote.

“You can hold a lease without deciding to develop or produce it based on the economics of that lease. Companies have always made decisions based on lease economics,” Ingham said of TAEP. “To suggest they’re not going to offer more leases until companies drill what they have now—that’s making decisions on behalf of companies that the administration is neither qualified nor authorized to make.”

Tim Stewart, president of the U.S. Oil and Gas Association, had a straightforward response to Biden’s March 8 comments.

“Cut the crap and approve our permits.”

Existential threats-not all equal

1. Climate change is not an existential threat. IPCC WG2 report is more heavily weighted to implausible scenarios than any previous IPCC assessment report.

2. Nuclear weapons are an existential threat.

Maybe we should be focusing more on developing and implementing missile defense and less on crazy ideas that cost more than they save. (Not to mention stopping the diversion of military training and focus from fighting to “woke”ing.
